How can you get your blog posts indexed faster?

A very useful tip from EggRage on how to get your latest blog post indexed very quickly by Google. WordPress has an area in the “Writing” section of the admin settings where you can add a list of sites that it will ping when a new post has been published.

WordPress automatically notifies popular Update Services that you’ve updated your blog by sending a XML-RPC ping each time you create or update a post.
